i heart jill wignall

I recently discovered today i saw (via a cup of jo).

Everyday Jill Wignall posts a drawing of something she has seen that day. They are so sweet!

Her cards start out looking like this:

And end up like this:

my personal, sentimental favourite:

When I used to go to the UK to visit my grandparents we would always go to Richmond Park to see the deer. Fond memories indeed.

This blog is a great morning pick-me-up and a really lovely concept. I love the idea of making my own to use as post cards while travelling -or- making a stack for my daughter (in a couple years) to see what she chooses to draw from her day.

p.s. keep our eyes open for Jill's new etsy shop, opening September 24th.

Hi Thea,

Thank you so much for posting about my project and also about my new shop. Also, it's lovely that the postcard of Richmond is so personal to you. Such a lovely story. Thanks for sharing. x
